The first semester provides a strong foundation in mechanical engineering. Engineering Mathematics I covers essential mathematical techniques. Engineering Physics and Engineering Chemistry provide fundamental scientific knowledge. Introduction to Mechanical Engineering offers an overview of the field, while Engineering Graphics introduces technical drawing skills. Communication Skills are developed to enhance students’ ability to effectively convey technical information.

In the second semester, students build upon their foundational knowledge. Engineering Mathematics II extends mathematical skills. Strength of Materials explores material properties and stress analysis. Thermodynamics covers principles of energy and heat transfer. Fluid Mechanics examines the behavior of fluids in motion and at rest. Manufacturing Processes introduces various techniques used in material fabrication. Environmental Science provides insights into the impact of engineering on the environment.

The third semester emphasizes core mechanical engineering concepts. Dynamics of Machinery explores the motion and forces in mechanical systems. Mechanical Design focuses on design principles and applications. Control Systems introduces techniques for regulating mechanical systems. Heat and Mass Transfer covers methods of transferring heat and mass in engineering systems. Probability and Statistics are applied to engineering data analysis, and Technical English enhances communication skills in technical contexts.

In the fourth semester, students delve into advanced mechanical engineering topics. Manufacturing Technology covers advanced manufacturing processes and techniques. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) introduces simulation techniques for analyzing fluid flow. Machine Learning for Mechanical Engineers covers the application of machine learning techniques to mechanical systems. Students select their third Elective and an Open Elective II. A Minor Project allows students to apply their knowledge to practical engineering challenges.

The seventh semester focuses on integrating knowledge with major projects and emerging technologies. Mechatronics combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering for advanced systems. Renewable Energy Systems explores sustainable energy technologies. Advanced Control Systems covers sophisticated techniques for controlling complex systems. Students work on their Major Project Part I and select their fourth Elective and an Open Elective III.

The final semester culminates in comprehensive project work and industry experience. Major Project Part II involves completing and presenting a significant engineering project, demonstrating the culmination of learning throughout the program. Professional Ethics in Engineering covers ethical considerations and responsibilities in the engineering profession. Industry Internship provides practical experience and exposure to real-world engineering environments. Students select their fifth Elective and an Open Elective IV, completing their education with diverse learning opportunities.
